ARTIST BIO

I’m a Miami Based artist who works in various mediums such as drawing/painting, printmaking, video and performance. I create for the viewer to reflect on moments that are informed by my experience as an Afro-Caribbean and Latin American individual. The work is rooted in my beliefs, love and need to represent BIPOC and L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ individuals and our experiences. I have been involved in collectives and organizations around Miami such as Frita’s Autonomous Department, Black Rose/Rosa Negra-Miami, Food Not Bombs Miami, The A-List Company and Voices United, that all have a common goal of supporting and serving our community through solidarity!
